Port Townsend is obsessed with boats, particularly those made of wood. Big or small, one mast or two (or even three), power or sail, new or old, ready to sail or in need of repair...you'll find vessels of all descriptions here.

It's a veritable paradise for a photographer who loves nothing better than capturing an image of a classic boat on a beam reach with the Olympic Mountains in the distance...or maybe two boats "neck and neck" at the finish line of a race...or wait...maybe the smiling faces of the crew as they enjoy the afternoon breeze on a sunny day. You get the picture...
